You are invited to a week of Contemporary and Traditional Music of New Orleans presented in a Concert and Workshop. This unprecedented gathering brings together three great bands featuring the Queens of New Orleans music, CHELLE! And Friends’ Artistic Director Michelle Jacques, the fabulous Dr. Dee Spencer and “radiatin’ the eighty-eights”, Jennifer Jolly. The QUEENS OF NEW ORLEANS MUSIC FESTIVAL is produced by CHELLE! And Friends, an Oakland-based arts ensemble dedicated to the performance, recording and education of the music of New Orleans, and the celebration of its people and their remarkable culture.
